INTERLUDE:
There is a certain amount of repetition/Religion in the New Testament Church, weather it is a certain denomination or not. When I first came to this type of church, I was impressed by the amount of scripture verses that the pastor could spit out and have the congregation complete. However, I later realized that if these verses are rehearsed multiple times for a number of years, then it is evident why the faithful would know it.
It is best if the Pastor or Bishop would come straight out and say "In the same way, the Lord has commanded that those who preach the gospel should receive their living from the gospel" 1 Corinthians Chapter 9 verse 14, but Verse 15 says" I have not used any of these rights. And I am not writing this in the hope that you will do such things for me, for I would rather die than allow anyone to deprive me of this boast."
This is what The Protestant Reformation executed by Martin Luther, not King, has brought us...A best seller books that tells the Truth to make you better, even if it hurts, yet it is being used as a center table decoration instead of being read by its owners. Sometime later on in the week, Church is attended and the word from within its pages get spoken; sometimes out of context, to suite one's personal beliefs, or Religious Rhetoric AKA Traditions of Man: Thoughts about what the word of God says and means, created to satisfy ones own theology and beliefs.
Malachi is one of the books contained in this 'Best Seller' for its "Bring all the tithe into the store house" verse...Malachi chapter 3 and 10. It is easy to see why 501c3 organization would create doctrines out of this verse and the verses surrounding it, even though it is not contained in the books of the New Testament. Reduced IRS penalty-Money has to be made, by giving the Gospel to the people, so that these people "of God, hopefully" can make a living...1 Corinthians, Chapter 9 verse 14.
10. Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.
11. And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the Lord of hosts.
If this is a non pay us so that we may (pay-for-the-sins-of your loved ones who has passed away and maybe trapped in Purgatory, Reformed Church (Meaning your body, and not the building) that one lives in, then why exactly do you pay for the word (meat Malachi 3:10) that many have literally died to get to you, yet you refuse to read it and understand for yourself through the knowledge of the Holy Ghost. Yes...the bible does say: how can they hear without a preacher (Romans 10:14), but their maybe more preachers at ones disposal than perceived, including oneself.
Some very similar style writings were executed by yours truly, while I was institutionalized, concerning the stance of this county (America) in the eyes of God. The story can be read in the E-Book: The Heart Of A Matter Is A Matter Of The Heart. The realization that this was indeed "One Nation Under God," was concluded after a deeper look into the journey of the Pilgrims in this country, bringing the Words of our father and settling on this land. The holyday-Thanksgiving, coming up shortly, this November 23rd is a day commemorating this journey.
The food and festivities of Thanksgiving wasn't only for the commemoration of Thanksgiving, however. Here is a look into "The Greatest Story Ever Told," and it's relation to Thanksgiving.
By neglecting the unilateral neglect and reading the first 75% of the bible, instead of only reading the Gospels, one can see what it has to say about tithing.
Deuteronomy 14:22-29. Thou shalt truly tithe all the increase of thy seed, that the field bringeth forth year by year.
23. And thou shalt eat before the LORD thy God, in the place which he shall choose to place his name there, the tithe of thy corn, of thy wine, and of thine oil, and the firstlings of thy herds and thy flocks, that though mayest learn to fear the Lord thy God always.
24. And if the way be too long for thee, so that thou art not able to carry it; or if the place be too far from thee, which the LORD thy thy God hath blessed thee:
25 Then shalt thou turn it into money, and bind up the money in thine hand, and shalt go unto the place which the Lord thy God shall choose:
26 And thou shalt bestow that money for whatsoever thy soul lusteth after, for oxen, or for sheep, or for wine, or for strong drink, or for whatsoever thy soul desireth: and thou shalt eat there before the Lordthy God, and thou shalt rejoice, thou, and thine household,
27 And the Levite that is within thy gates; thou shalt not forsake him; for he hath no part nor inheritance with thee.
28 At the end of three years thou shalt bring forth all the tithe of thine increase the same year, and shalt lay it up within thy gates:
29 And the Levite, (because he hath no part nor inheritance with thee,) and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, which are within thy gates, shall come, and shall eat and be satisfied; that the Lord thy God may bless thee in all the work of thine hand which thou doest.
Here one can see that, after three years, the sower also enjoys his blessings or tithe (Food, Wine, Oil etc.) as well as the widow, strangers, fatherless and Levite(Priest/Pastor). A massive Thanksgiving-styled feast would take place during this three year span.
